"Hey, what if there was this person, who lived in this circumstance..."

etc.

They don't need their own fleshed out, well-written story

Not just about metaphorical trees

at least u admit it WAS a tree

it was a metaphore for a girl people that can read into poetry can get it but no tay cant

Out in the middle of nowhere there is this tree
With no one around, but her own kind
Grown one of three saplings,
Leaving her lacking company
Thinking that she may slowly be loosing her mind
Because the only thing that occupies her time is to count the seldom creatures that pass by
Envying them because they are free,
They can go where they want and do what they please
Wishing one day to move far away from the place she has been
But fearing that her roots are too deep and that it would be a bad idea
So until that decision is made,
There the tree will stay
Still wishing to get away,
Envying the free,
And fearing that every moment she waits is another moment to late
