State of Play

Starring Russell Crowe and Ben Affleck. It's really good, despite that I'd only scarcely heard of it before watching it today; it's like an investigative thriller that literally keeps you guessing until the end. And it's from 2009, so it's not old and it's really realistic. Politics, murders, conspiracies, scandals, and pressure to get his story done are what push Russel Crowe's role as protagonist, and you can definitely see that the whole movie goes by flawlessly. A good movie through and through.
