Shell scripts
so just download the file
open a terminal and navigate to the location of the file (so "cd ~/Desktop" if its the desktop or "cd ~/Downloads" for the downloads folder"
run the command "chmod u+x FILENAME" (in this case "chmod u+x xwing.sh")
then just run the command "./FILENAME" (so "./xwing.sh")

commands are very similar to batch commands... so have fun make some awesome shell scripts and share them with the world!

Re: Shell scripts
You should try to learn Python.
I hear it's very versatile.

Re: Shell scripts
shell scripting is so useful though... thousands of possibilities... plus python is just another language its actually very similar to shell commands.... or c's retarded cousin
Re: Shell scripts
I used it before but it seems to be screwing things up...guess I need to change my registry value strings again.
Re: Shell scripts
java and c++ seem to be more powerful languages... and i know both pretty well... but adding a little more python would just bulk up the arsenal so why not... and how is python screwing stuff up? you should only have to change registry values to change things normally in a preferences menu
Re: Shell scripts
Some how the whole system is corupted and I have to clean up everythin, but its not due to python. My friend was being a douche bag again and uploaded his "new" virus onto my computer and I plan to get him back this weekend when he is at his queerbate club.
Re: Shell scripts
nice... have this pretty sweet "virus" i made that causes your disk drive to open/close repeatedly until you shutdown or log off... made for an interesting english class my senior year lol
